Bombay is known as the Gateway to India – a city that passionately blends the varied cuisines of India as well as international flavours to create its signature taste!

Chef Bik, is a Bombay Boy through and through! Growing up in a family of foodies, he was exposed to the unique experience of Bombay Street Food with his mother and in his childhood, started learning the craft of cooking from his mom.

He then went onn to hone his god- gifted talent by studying at India’s premiere culinary arts institute, IHM Bombay and further trained at the renowned Taj Group of Hotels at its best property, Taj Mahal Palace in Colaba.

Chef Bik has headed several culinary ventures in Bombay and has been one of the pioneers of bringing Bombay Street Food to Canada. His restaurants here reflect the very essence of Bombay – the authentic street food flavours, the unique serving styles and the painstakingly created decor and details all transports one to Bombay, in an instant.

For this, he has received national recognition in the media, in leading newspapers like the Province, Globe and Mail and the Vancouver Sun as well as appearing in Breakfast Television a number of times.
